Senior Associate at LEC Abogados, since 2026. Her professional practice focuses on Corporate Law, Energy and Oil & Gas. She advises clients in the hydrocarbons sector on corporate, contractual, regulatory and tax matters. Her current work covers two main areas. She advises multilateral organizations on Venezuelan sovereign debt restructuring and on debt-to-equity structures tied to the energy sector. She also counsels operators and investors on Venezuela’s new hydrocarbons legal framework, guiding the migration of existing structures to the new contractual models and tax regime, and structuring new upstream projects. Ivanna obtained her law degree from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (2018). Completed the Hydrocarbons Law Program at Universidad Metropolitana (2020) and a Specialization Degree in Financial and Tax Law at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (2022). Before joining LEC Abogados, Ivanna was Legal Manager at Petrolera Cyprus Limited (formerly Rosneft), then holder of the largest oil portfolio in Venezuela. She led the legal affairs of the Venezuelan branch across all its business units: five oil-producing joint ventures (Empresas Mixtas), an offshore gas licensee and two drilling services companies. Her mandate spanned corporate governance, complex transactions, litigation and regulatory matters; she was Legal Advisor at Ypergas, S.A., operator of the Yucal Placer Norte and Sur licenses in Guárico State and TotalEnergies’ onshore gas investment in Venezuela. She also worked at the international law firm Clyde & Co. Fluent in Spanish and Intermediate in English. Member of the Caracas Bar Association, since 2019.
