Tax Law

Our Firm provides legal services in the area of Tax Law, including tax planning for corporations operating in Venezuela, the review of taxes applicable to operations and transactions performed in Venezuela, customs legislation, tax audits and all tax aspects of local and international transactions.

We provide support during audits and reviews performed by national and municipal tax authorities. We assist our clients in local tax matters and especially municipal business tax matters.

Our Tax Department members have an outstanding track record in handling tax complaints filed by the Tax Administration (SENIAT) against large companies in relation to their income, imports and value-added tax returns.

In addition, we have one of the largest practices in Venezuela in the incorporation of non-Venezuelan corporate structures, using a wide range of jurisdictions to accommodate the specific tax planning needs of our clients.
